ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ! WHAT'S YOUR TAKE ON THIS ISSUE

 ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.  SHOULD THEY STAY OR SHOULD THEY GO!


    Hello to my fellow Americans and others.  I know that this topic is very controversial and stirs up a lot of emotional response.  Not only am I the friend and co-worker of people who's'  origin is not from this country; I have very close friends who's parents I hold dear to my heart who came here as immigrants.  However I do think that this situation is getting out of control.  This country is very divided on this issue so I did some research and would like to share with you how I feel about the situation.  Hopefully you will do the same and we can all learn something.
     Diversity of our country is an advantage in global competition.  There are people who have gone through great risk and hardship to get to this country.  All in the hope of making a better life for themselves and the family that they provide for.  Some of you come from these families.
     One of the things that amazes me is that people who are against letting immigrants in ignore one fact.  The United States has been one of the most successful countries when it comes to the assimilation of immigrants.
     We have muslim immigrants who hate AL-QUEDA and Osama Bin Ladin.  Mexican Americans who work hard and speak better english than some Americans.  Legal and illegal immigrants have built this country.
     A constant flow of immigrants has made this country what it is.  There are great immigrants like Albert Einstein who many consider to  be one of the greatest physicist  ever.  Great sports players like Hakeem Olajuwon, or great Americans like Supreme court justice Felix Frankfurter from Austria.
     There are even people in our military that are not yet citizens.

HOWEVER!

     WE MUST DO A BETTER JOB TO ENFORCE LAWS AND PROTECT OUR BORDERS!!!!!

     We should control our borders more rigorously so that we can get a better grip on how to regulate residency and citizenship.  People who come here illegally should be held to some form of accountability.  Government needs to take on more responsibilities and a leadership role when it comes to protecting our borders.  If we can have 140,000 troops in Iraq as we speak we should have that many protecting our borders.
     If you are going to come to this country you must do so within the bounds of the law.  If you are here illegally you should be allowed to come forward, be fined pay back taxes and be allowed to learn english, history and earn your citizenship.
     We need to do a better job of not only tracking who comes in this country, but who overstays their visas.   The Arizona laws present the potential of individuals having their civil rights continually violated.  Racial profiling is a very dangerous game and unless you have fallen victim of it you probably say whats the big deal.  I myself have had to deal with it in many situations and my family has been here forever.

      This governor  has tried to pass laws that requires police to ask for the paperwork of anyone who looks like an illegal immigrant.  Six months in jail and a 500 $ fine if you don't have proper ID even if you are a citizen.   I don't know about you but this sounds a little RIDICULOUS !!!

I KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!
1. The right refuses to have a civl way for people who are hear illegally to become legal.
2. The left are unwilling to get serious about enforcing the laws and fine tax or incarcerate
    major violators of our laws.

If you are here already and you work hard and obey the laws you should be allowed to work towards citizenship.  If you don't obey the laws and or you are a business that hires illegals you should be punished to the full extent of the law.

TIGER WOODS! who got the raw deal Elin or Tiger?

     Tiger Woods,  known for his many accomplishments on the golf course took the world by storm.  He is now known as a serial CHEATER.  On November 27, 2009 the crash took place.  The world then sat back as detail after detail came in.   What was real? What was not?  The public could not believe that the calm Buddhist that we all thought we knew, was this far from righteous man that the media was reporting on.

I need you to do me a HUGE favor.  Can you please take your name off your phone?  My wife went through my phone and may be calling you.  So if you can, please take your name off that.  Just have it as a number on the voicemail. Huge. Quickly. Bye."

Well.  There goes his image.  The Tiger jokes came rolling in and the P.R reconstruction of Tiger began.  I'm not hear to talk about that;  just reporting the facts.  Anyone with half a brain can see that he was fully in the wrong!  I would however like to know how you feel the divorce settlement is going FAIR OR UNFAIR!

WHO MADE OUT TIGER OR ELIN?

Here is what I think...
Tiger and Elin were married for about six years.  The divorce settlement agreement is for 100 million dollars.  That turns out to be almost 17 million a year for the years she was married to him.  She is also getting monthly child support.  You tell me why would someone with 100 million $$$ need child support.  WHAT IS UP WITH OUR LEGAL SYSTEM!!!! SHE ALREADY DOESNT HAVE TO WORK A DAY IN HER LIFE AND CAN LIVE A LAVISH LIFE OFF THE INTEREST  ALONE!
     Elin is also receiving a home in Florida, an apt in Stockholm Sweden and a secluded island in Sweden worth 2.2 mil.  SHE MADE OUT LIKE A BANDIT.

Woods gets Joint custody And a lifetime confidentiality clause.  This means that if Elin opens her mouth about their personal affairs she has to give it all back.  Woods says that the money is not important to him.  All he cares about is his children and his privacy.  So Woods gets what he wants.

100 MIL NUMEROUS PROPERTIES AND CHILD SUPPORT THERE IS A POLL TO YOUR LEFT VOTE AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.

I'll call it a draw even though I feel that the financial gain for Elin is a little EXCESSIVE.

WHO IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NBA (LET'S TAKE A VOTE)

     First off there are allot of great players in the NBA.  We are going to have to limit this list to the top six, so lets get started.  Let us begin with the MVP for the 2009-2010 season Lebron James.  His numbers speak volumes.  He was a very close second in the league in scoring at 29.7 with 7.3 rpg and a amazing 8.6 assist pg.  OHHH my goodness how can you vote against Mr.James.

     Next I would like to address Mr. Wade.  This guy is as electrifying as anyone in the league.  Like Mr. James he is the full package. His numbers also truly impressive, 26.6 ppg 6.5 rbg and a not too shabby at all 4.8 apg.  He also has one of the most dominant performances in finals history, that anyone has ever seen and there is no argument for that.

     How about Kevin Durant?  The no.2 Draft pick just two short yrs ago (shout out to the trailblazers) is a matchup nightmare!  He led the league in scoring at 30.1 ppg with 7.6 rpg and 2.8 apg. WOW!!! He actually averages more points and rebounds than anyone in this category!!!   

     Kobe Bryant.  While averaging 27 ppg 5.4 rpg 5 apg Great numbers by any standard, but less boards than Wade.  Less assist than Lebron, and less points than Lebron, Durant, and Carmelo!  But check this out , against what many would agree was the best defense in the playoffs by far (Celtics) He averaged 28.5 ppg 8 rpg 3.8 apg and 2.1 steals.  Not to mention winning the finals MVP and going home with his fifth championship trophy!!!  

     Dirk Nowinski's numbers make him a must to put in this conversation. 25 ppg 7.6 rpg and 2.7 apg.  Allstar MVP like numbers.  Like I try to tell my old girlfriends, don't hold my past against me.  But Dirk you got your ass handed to you by a San Antonio team that later got swept by the Suns.  Not to mention when you got to the Finals four years ago......well you know (see Mr. Wade) y'all know the rest!!! 

     Last but not least Carmelo Anthony.  Amazing numbers 28.2 ppg 6.6 rpg 3.2 apg.  He is not the defensive player that Kobe, Lebron, And Wade are which is a knock against him.  Look at his playoff numbers.  30 ppg 8.5 rpg 3.3 apg although in a losing effort these playoff numbers show what a special talent this man is.

     Let me explain why.  First Off I know there are allot of Kobe haters out there.  He might not be my first choice to go have a beer with but FINALS MVP nuff said!!!!!  The numbers are there,  actually went up in the playoffs.  He is a five time champion and NBA all defense. Oh Yea look up the word clutch, guess who's picture is there Mr. Bryant.  How are you going to argue with that.  I know some of you will and I look forward to it.
      D. Wade outstanding numbers I have actually seen him live more than any of the others, this dude is a bullshark!  In big moments he is clutch he is a former champion who arguably put on the most dominant performance in NBA finals history!
      Mr. James numbers are off the charts!!! I know some of you probably can't believe I have him in the Three spot.  Well here's why.  First no Bling then you can't possibly be King.  Second The first two are definatly more clutch when it's important.  Mr. James your numbers are mind boggling and you are impressive and a joy to watch but there is something about the lack of fire I saw in your eyes againt the Celtics that makes me give Bryant and Wade the nod over you.  I always see the fire in there eyes.
     Kevin Durant wow.  Second year, scoring champ I think we all need to be very very afraid.  He is only going to get better and arguably gave the Lakers the toughest test in the playoffs besides the Celtics of course.
    Carmelo your numbers are outstanding but to me your leadership is Questionable.  While you can dominate a game it seems like your team lacks leadership if Chauncy doesnt show up.
