Well NBA fans, now that the free agent process is underway how do you feel about it? Well I am though roughly disgusted. Let me ask you something, Who do these athletes think they are? Better yet who do they think we are! Is this free agent period some kind of reality tv show. Every day are we supposed to be sitting on the edge of our seats waiting for the next dramatic twist?
I think it's comical how the so called BIG 3 ( Lebron, Wade & Bosh) are trying to play GM. They are trying to build some kind of Justice League to fight off all the other evil NBA teams, it's a joke. What these guys are doing is showing no loyalty to the fans that have rooted for them since they came into the league.
Imagine if Magic, Larry & Doc did the same thing. Maybe Jordan, Barkley and Ewing. Hmmmmm! Thats right, I could not imagine it either.
These guys are turning this process into a circus. I really hope that this is not a trend to be followed by the modern day athlete. Remember guys, it's about the FANS Period. We root for you. We contribute to your lifestyles, we deserve better!
Mr. Wade. don't forget about that white hot HEAT in the electrifying Amer. Airlines Arena. I mean they even renamed Dade Co. Wade County!
With Pat Riley running the show you have one of the best in the business yet you show no loyalty. This is the same man that surrounded you with a championship team just four short years ago. You should sign, say Miami is the place to be and help to bring it back to championship form.
Mr. James. Shame on you!!! Not only do you play for your hometown team, they adore you. I don't think I need to bring up the last time this town has seen a championship of any sorts. What do you need? Your team has had the best regular season record the past two years. THis year you let the original big three bully you out the playoffs. You have been to the NBA finals Once (swept). I think the Cavs have done a good job of bringing a winning attitude to the organization; with your help of course. Now they have to beg you to stay Ridiculous!!
Mr Bosh you play in Canada I don't blame You RUN FOR THE BORDER.( TO MUCH TAXES)
So for all the NBA fans in the world stop being drama queens; Get those max deals from the cities that have supported you eg. (DIrk, Pierce, Joe Johnson etc.)
I love too watch Wade, Bosh, and James play very much but could do without the drama and lack of loyalty. I am not a fan of any of their teams so I can only imagine how their fans must feel.
NBA fans let me know what you think ronj32ny@yahoo.com
Oh yea I guess Shaq will wait to see where these guys sign so he can ride someones back to another championship!!! Peace and GOD BLESS

I agree with you completely. This whole Free Agency Drama Bull @#$% has left a real sour taste in my mouth. Like you said before, Who do they think we are? Who do they think pays there salaries? The fans do. Period. I understand this is a huge year for free agency, probably the biggest we have ever seen. And I understand that Many teams are fighting to get there piece of this delicious free agency pie. Im not hating on that. Im hating on the way the players are handling it. BREAKING NEWS...THIS JUST IN,,,,LEBRON, WADE, AND BOSH MEET IN MIAMI....Are you kidding me? Boy I would love to be a fly on the wall for that conversation. What happened to the good old days when players would go to the teams that made the best sense for themselves, not the publicity stunt, marketing and shock value. This is ridiculous. Call me old school, but im being Real. And these idiots are doing the complete opposite. And lets not get this twisted ladies and gents, The pressure is not on the teams, but the players themselves. If 2 out of "big 3" make it on one team, you had better believe that a championship is expected within a 3 year time period. And Yes this means you Lebron. Back to Back MVP Titles and you cant make it to the NBA Finals? Makes me sick that You are even compared to Michael Jordan. In closing..I will leave Lebron with a little definition of a word that he needs to quickly become familiar with....CLUTCH: To be sucessful in a crucial situation. No Championship in next 3 years? Ill be the first to by this T shirt... KING FAILURE
I do understand your comments from a fans perspective. I too am a fan. While I can appreciate the players and would love to have my favorite players be on my favorite team for all eternity, I can honestly say that I am now and always have been a bigger fan of the franchise than a fan of any individual player. Of all the teams that I consider to be my favorite (Knicks, Yankees or Giants etc), not one team still has anyone on the roster that that was there when I first started to follow that particular franchise. Which means that wether it be retirement, trade, injury, free agency or even death, change is inevitable.
We as fans must realize that no matter how much we love our sports, this is still a business. In fact, now so more than ever it has become big business. The same way that the average person goes to work and strives for that promotion or that raise in salary, these athletes defy all odds to reach the pinnacle of their craft. As a matter of fact when you think of what most of these team owners are making off the blood, sweat and tears of these players, how can you get mad a player for trying to get all that he or she feels that they are worth. Remember, even after signing a big contract the burden still falls on that individual to prove to the owners, the media and the fans that they are worth every penny of it.
Long story short... When I do a job, I'm trying to get as much as I can because I have plans for my money that shouldn't concern anyone else. What gives me the right to tell an athlete how much is enough for them? I understand that fans would like loyalty from their athletes, but I know a whole lot of fans who tend to forget their loyalty as soon as a player goes into a slump or has a couple of bad games or even makes a costly mistake. We must remember that these athletes that we hold in such high esteem are HUMAN JUST LIKE US!
Ah yes...free agency...more exciting than the actual season. As a huge LBJ fan I am torn when someone asks me who I will be rooting for next year if he leaves Cleveland. I became a Cleveland fan the day the won the lottery much like I have rooted for the Lakers with Magic and the Bulls with Scottie. When Scottie left the Bulls I started rooting for the player and didn't root for the team. This year is entirely different. LBJ is being forced out of Cleveland like Scottie was with the Bulls.
If they have done everything that they can to build around you then I can't imagine LBJ being forgiven if he leaves. They got you the deepest bench in the league last year. They replaced the worst coach in the league with a proven one. The made some great trades and acquisitions in the past 2-3 years all to compete for a championship. Now you want to throw that away to go play for the Knicks? Really? Doing that would only show that it never was about winning. With that in mind I honestly think it comes down to Cleveland or Chicago...and I am hoping on Cleveland.
I love LBJ but he still has some work to do to become the best player in the league. Stop playing all those 5-on-5 scrimmages and start working on your free throws. You look like Shaq when it comes to making them in the last 2 minutes of every game!
Sorry, a small correction...
LBJ is NOT being forced out like Scottie...
Well that brings it to my opinion. I think that LbJ and D.Wade are clowning everybody!!! Never mind Bosh! He is just looking for which ones coat tails hes going to ride. Seriously what has Bosh done to even be considered in this conversation with those two? Other than be lucky enough to be the top powerforward free agent in the same year as those two. Its my opinion that Carlos Boozer is as good or better and he isn't getting nearly the buzz Bosh is. Back to Wade and Lb, They have known where they want to be the hole time, there just living it up and enjoying it at the fans and medias expense. Sad , but I guess this is where sports and busness have collided with one another, and the athlete is coming out on top. shame on us fans for liking these players and our home teams so much! Thats somehow become a horriable thing for us these days. Shame on us! Shame on me, for listening to Steven A. Smith not that long ago say " The big three are going to Miami according to a reliable sorse" Which brings me to this. "According to a reliable sorse" WTF does this mean now! It seems to me that these so called reliable sorcses aren't so fucking reliable and some people should be losing their jobs over these reliable so called sorses. In the end after LbJs stupid press confrence on Thurs. I hope that he puts an explanation mark on this whole thing by saying " And Its with great honer that the team I choose to play with is...." and then grabs a ballcap with the team he chooses out and puts it on his larger than the word ego driven head!!! That would be great! I love the NBA "The game" This crap is really putting a damper on it though, and depending on the out come of all this? I'll decide weather or not I want to be a fan anymore! I have that power!!! Mutherfuckers!!!
Can't believe I'm saying this, but i agree with Buddah about a 1000%. I can't get mad @ the da players, unless I plan on getting mad @ the MEDIA and the FANS for following this BS, and the OWNERS because they r more greedy than the players. Also, IMO, u can't b mad @ DWade and LJ, but not b mad @ Bosh cuz he played in Canada. WTF?!? LOL
People keep asking me "Where do u think 'so and so' is going?" My response: "IDK and IDC!" (i don't know and I don't care) Cuz none of us really know til the ink is dry! Holla @ me when the circus is over.
P.S. The Shaq comment is some FUNNY shit!!! LMAO
First off I would Like to thank everyone for your input. Everyone of you put together your thought nicely and I appreciate your perspective.
Buddah made some valid points like change being inevitable. Also that the athlete should get all he can while He can. I agree with this whole hardedly!
I also love Tim's thought about the pressure that now follows the DYNAMIC DUO OR TRIO OR WHATEVER IT MAY BE!!!
This brings me to Scottie's point which is, is there any loyalty at all to the fans, Are we just cattle that they round up to feed at the games. The players and the owners dont give a fuck about us. As long as we keep buying them boats and planes. STOP lets not think like that cause it just kind or ruins it for me.
To borow from my man L IDK and IDC Even hough I am a part of the media It is to blame for all this bullshit reporting. They created most of this DRAMA and Im over It. While you all are glued to your TV wondering where Mr. James is going Ill be at work making a buck. HUH I Guess we are all slaves to the almighty dollar lol
THanks for your input guys spread the word and coming monday WHO IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE ?
YOU KNOW STUDD GOT SOMETHING TO SAY
PEACE AND GOD GUIDE
This just in, King James now King of South Beach!!!! Guess what? No matter how much everyone complained about the circus, no matter how much everyone called it over-dramatitzed, we were ALL glued to the tv, watching the ESPN "special". So no shame to Lebron or to aany other players who might have been co- conspirators in 2010 free agency "circus", shame on us for watching and feeding the media beast, cause you all know, no matter what you say, you were all watching except for the one guy that was tarpoon fishing or playin softball EVERYONE else was was mesmerized by the tube or askin every 30 seconds "did he say yet? did he say yet?". Kuddos to you Lebron for making us all care that much, shame on us for blaming anyone else then ourselves for falling for it and feeding it. Now that this is over...Lets get ready for football season

The Hype around Lebron's signing is unreal. He deserves the attention if everyone is going to give it to him. How about some of the other teams in the equation though? The Cavs might as well move to Canada, poor Dan Owner needs to start listening to Hi Hater by Maino. But on a serious note the Knicks need to make a move now. They can't tell their fanbase that we will get Chris Paul next year in free agency. I think they should try their best to get Gilbert Arenas from the Wizards. The Knicks got to get back into the playoffs in 2011 if they want to be taken seriously.
All I know is that if Maimi don't the championship, let alone the eastern conference with the Wade, Lebron, Bosh, possible Shaq and big not sure Iverson. Pat riley needs to hire the colombian death squad that took out Tony Montana and put a contract on all them nukkas! Lakers baby!
