The world then sat back as detail after detail came in. What was real? What was not? Well. There goes his image. The Tiger jokes came rolling in and the P.R reconstruction of Tiger began. I'm not hear to talk about that; just reporting the facts. Anyone with half a brain can see that he was fully in the wrong! I would however like to know how you feel the divorce settlement is going FAIR OR UNFAIR!
WHO MADE OUT TIGER OR ELIN?
Here is what I think...
Tiger and Elin were married for about six years. The divorce settlement agreement is for 100 million dollars. That turns out to be almost 17 million a year for the years she was married to him. She is also getting monthly child support. You tell me why would someone with 100 million $$$ need child support. WHAT IS UP WITH OUR LEGAL SYSTEM!!!! SHE ALREADY DOESNT HAVE TO WORK A DAY IN HER LIFE AND CAN LIVE A LAVISH LIFE OFF THE INTEREST ALONE!
Elin is also receiving a home in Florida, an apt in Stockholm Sweden and a secluded island in Sweden worth 2.2 mil. SHE MADE OUT LIKE A BANDIT.
Woods gets Joint custody And a lifetime confidentiality clause. This means that if Elin opens her mouth about their personal affairs she has to give it all back. Woods says that the money is not important to him. All he cares about is his children and his privacy. So Woods gets what he wants.
100 MIL NUMEROUS PROPERTIES AND CHILD SUPPORT THERE IS A POLL TO YOUR LEFT VOTE AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.
I'll call it a draw even though I feel that the financial gain for Elin is a little EXCESSIVE.

The law is the law!! It all boils down to the fact that Tiger did wrong bigtime and caused his wife a great deal of ambarrasment. Almost on a scale of the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal. Tiger's actions with all of those women showed no concern for his wife's feeling. I love his game and have no other issues with him but he went to far overboard with this. From what I can tell their has never been an issue with his wife and she was there for him and took care of the children. As far as her payment, we all know that when you become accustomed to a certain lifestyle and you play by the rules, their should not be an issue as to the amount you are legally entitled to. The courts award payments based on the common law of the land. If she earned it based on the law than she should receive it and Tiger should move on and get his game back on track. I don't think the amount of the payment will hurt him.
As far as the settlement is concerned, I think its the epitome of the old saying, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." I don't know the exact details of the whole settlement but from what I've read so far, it is a little extreme. "The court awards payments based on the law of the land?" Where the hell were they living and could I get a one-way ticket there?! I believe in fairness regardless of what brought the two parties to that point but really? 100 million? That's so extreme! Don't get me wrong, he [Tiger] deserves to be punished but I think it went overboard on that dollar amount.
I personally don't have much remorse for Tiger Woods. Sorry, but it was HE who embarrassed himself, shamed his wife, and disgraced his family with his reckless selfish non-sense. I recall the Eddie Murphy joke back in the days: "Half Eddie! Me want Half!!!" Well Goony Goo Goo to you Tiger! Tiger is nearly a Billionare according to Forbes, which made Elin one as well as his wife. Tiger broke his contractual vows with her through his scandalous behavior, and she is now being compensated for him compromising the lifestyle he had promised via vows to provide her. True, 100 Mil is a shitload of cake, but not much to a borderline Billionaire. Tiger could have easily avoided this by simply not getting married and not making a farce of himself. Bottom line, Don't cry for Tiger. Neither he Ellin, nor their kids will ever be able to spend all that bread in a lifetime.
